Founding studio pricing
Not priced like the others.
No plan grid. No feature maze. No Batch Relay invoice to reconcile. We agree on one sales-aligned platform fee during onboarding, handle our share when orders settle, and keep the rest of the economics visible.
We are onboarding our first 20 studios personally. Bring a real event and we will map the workflow, costs, and agreed rate with you before launch.
One agreed platform fee
Set with you, before the first sale.
Founding-studio pricing reflects the event volume, fulfillment path, and hands-on launch work we confirm together. Once agreed, the model is simple: Batch Relay participates when your studio sells.
No mystery charge after launch. Your rate and order economics are reviewed with you before parent checkout opens.
What does not change
- No monthly subscription
- No setup fee
- No paid feature tiers
The non-invoice
The split happens with the sale—not weeks later in accounting.
Batch Relay uses a profit-share model. We handle our agreed share as the transaction settles and route studio proceeds through Stripe Connect. You receive settlement records for bookkeeping, not another Batch Relay bill that someone has to match, approve, and pay.
Sale paid
The parent checks out.
The order, payment, studio, and fulfillment context stay connected.
Share handled
No second collection.
Our agreed platform share is handled as part of settlement—not invoiced later.
Studio proceeds
Routed through Stripe.
The remaining studio proceeds follow the connected settlement path.
Batch Relay platform invoice due: none
More workflow. Less pricing theater.
The platform fee supports the path from sale to settlement.
We do not carve the workflow into artificial software tiers. Founding studios get the capabilities required for the supported order path we approve together.
Included in the supported workflow
- A connected storefront, shareable payment links, and parent checkout.
- Event, athlete, package, image, and order context that stays together.
- Print-readiness checks and clear exceptions before an order reaches the lab.
- Supported provider submission, order status, and settlement visibility.
- Hands-on founding-studio onboarding for the workflow you actually run.
Transparent pass-through costs
One platform fee does not mean pretending every order costs the same.
Payment providers and print labs still charge for the work they perform. We keep those costs visible so you can understand the full event economics before launch.
Payment processing
Stripe processing is shown as a transaction cost.
Print production
Your selected lab charges for the products it produces.
Shipping
Parents can pay checkout shipping unless your studio chooses to fund it.
Taxes
Applicable customer and provider taxes remain visible.
Why discuss pricing first?
We are still learning with the first 20 studios.
Batch Relay is not self-service yet. A 100-athlete event with standard prints is different from a multi-day program with custom packages, composite artwork, and unusual fulfillment rules.
During founding-studio onboarding, we review the real event, agree on the rate and responsibilities, and document the economics before checkout opens. The goal is not to hide the price. It is to avoid promising a generic rate before we understand the workflow we are committing to support.
