Why it was built
It began with the work after picture day.
Development is shaped through direct collaboration with the photographers using the platform. The longer version is on the about page.
- Started in 2025 from the work that happens after picture day: reconciling rosters, correcting names, chasing missing information, matching packages, and preparing production.
- Too much of that depended on disconnected systems and repeated manual entry.
- Mike Bennett brought the working volume photographer's view of what breaks under pressure.
- The mission is to give studios their time back without taking away creative or business control.
Who uses it
Studios sell. Families buy. Data stays connected.
The core workflows keep athlete information, purchasing decisions, artwork, and production requirements attached to each other.
- Photographers and studios managing large numbers of subjects, repeatable packages, and personalized photo products.
- Parents and other customers, who buy through a studio's storefront, provide required details, and pay online.
- The studio sets its own packages, pricing, branding, and order-form fields.

Ordering and fulfillment
Software from Batch Relay. Printing from professional labs.
The studio workflow starts with the products and packages it wants to sell. Purchases and personalization stay attached to the order as artwork is prepared, and eligible orders move into the supported lab's production workflow.
- Batch Relay provides the software. Professional labs produce and ship the physical products.
- Batch Relay does not operate a printing facility.
- Its role is preparing assets, checking order requirements, mapping supported products, and keeping studio orders connected to lab fulfillment.
- Provider-neutral means the platform is not restricted to one lab. It does not mean every product is interchangeable between labs.
- A supported connection does not imply exclusivity or endorsement by the lab.
