Plaques, Photo Buttons and Trader Cards

New keepsake products across the studio catalog, storefront setup, assisted orders and Developer API, plus photo assignment corrections after picture day.

Batch Relay soccer photo products arranged in a studio scene.

Today's headline is the product lineup. Plaques, Photo Buttons and double-sided Trader Cards give studios more ways to turn picture-day photos into something families can keep, wear or share.

New keepsake products

The catalog now includes:

3-inch Photo Buttonphoto-button-3One button
Double-sided Trader Cardstrader-cards-12A set of 12 cards
4 × 5 Magnetmagnet-4x5One magnet, with the updated artwork contract

These products share the same canonical SKUs across the studio catalog, storefront product setup, assisted orders and Developer API. Studios choose their retail prices and publish the products they want families to see, either on their own or in a package.

Contemporary Plaques support portrait and landscape artwork. The Photo Button has a circular finished area and a safe area for important content. Trader Cards bring the front and back together as one double-sided product, with quantity measured in complete sets of 12.

The template editor keeps product dimensions and output sides with the product. API integrations use the same catalog definitions for artwork requirements, quantities and provider offers. You can discover each SKU through GET /v1/catalog/products/{product_id} and use its current revision in your integration. Browse the Developer API documentation.

Correct photo assignments after picture day

A photo can land on the wrong athlete during upload. You can now open it from the athlete's record and move a personal photo, or one person's buddy-photo tag, to the right athlete without uploading it again.

The move keeps the photo family together, including its original, versions, crops and pose. Moving one buddy tag keeps the other people tagged in the photo.

Before you confirm, the review shows affected orders and digital downloads. A paid order alone no longer prevents you from correcting a wrong assignment. Prepared artwork, fulfillment work already using the photo, and checkouts in progress still receive their own checks before a move can proceed.

Unsent digital downloads resolve against the corrected assignments. Released downloads are corrected in place; if a required replacement photo is not ready, the download explains that it is waiting for one. First-release holds remain in effect.

October 18 studio update

Yesterday's release renamed Operations to Roster and Preflight to Uploads, refined reporting and bank payout history, and improved crop updates, JPEG preparation and print review.

Smaller fixes
  • The athlete overview opens personal and buddy photos directly into their photo controls.
  • Trader Card canvas names describe the complete double-sided product while keeping Front and Back separate.
  • Copy support reference now includes the displayed error, page URL, failure time and available diagnostic codes. Private access-link tokens are left out.
